I know exactly how you feel about being mistakenly reported as deceased by equifax. A friend of mine went through this a couple of years ago. He was being flagged as deceased on his credit report, and it messed up everything. His credit applications were denied, and it took months to fix the mistake. What made it worse was that even after contacting Equifax multiple times, they didn’t resolve it quickly. Eventually, he had to escalate the issue and get legal help to get it removed. It’s crazy how a simple mistake can cause so much trouble. Has anyone else had this happen? Would love to know how you managed to fix it.
